Description
The traditional Alsatian tarte flambée. With crème fraîche, bacon and onions. Thin and crispy dough! The original from Alsace. Fruit of Alsatian know-how. A thin and crispy dough base covered with a mix of crème fraîche and quark, bacon and onions: this is the traditional taste of Gourmet d'Alsace! When Alsatian farmers baked bread at home, they checked if the wood oven had reached the right temperature by placing a thin strip of dough on the stone. Thus was born the Alsatian tarte flambée.
