Bodega Matsu is located in the Castilla y León region in northwestern Spain. Thanks to the climatic conditions, low humidity and sandy soils, the area offers optimal conditions for producing grapes of excellent quality. The Toro wines have always been known for the enormous strength and personality of the Tinta de Toro. The challenge was to produce Toro wines that combine the traditional strength of the area with a suppleness and elegance that are adapted to the tastes of today's consumers. The word Matsu comes from Japanese and means "to wait". In winemaking, this means letting nature take its course and waiting patiently for the result. The labels were created by photographers Bela Adler and Salvador Fresneda. Depending on the character of the wine, a suitable winemaker was photographed. A full-bodied red wine with a lot of finesse and notes of chocolate, black fruits and vanilla. El Recio is a round and silky drop that is very easy to drink.
