Poggio Bestiale is a powerful red wine cuvée produced from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. They come from the vineyard of the same name and grow at about 250 m above sea level. After the harvest, the grapes are destemmed and fermented for 20-25 days at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The resulting must is stored for 12-24 months in French barriques and for another 12 months in the bottle. The Fattoria di Magliano winery was founded in 1997 by Agostino Lenci. He worked in the shoe trade when he decided to give up this activity and dedicate himself to his dream, viticulture. He settled in beautiful Tuscany where he started a 97-hectare farm in Maremma. Since then, wines have been produced there with passion, which have an independent character and successfully represent the region.
