The Philippe Bouchard Coteaux-Bourguignons Bourgogne is a French red wine made from the Gamay grape variety. The grapes come from various terroirs in the departments of Côte-d’Or, Saône-et-Loire, Yonne, and Rhône. The aging takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for a period of 8 to 12 months. In the glass, the wine shows a cherry-red color with violet reflections. The bouquet is characterized by fruity aromas of blackcurrant and cherry. On the palate, it presents itself as juicy and generous with silky, well-integrated tannins. Due to its accessible nature, it is a good, uncomplicated accompaniment to various dishes. The wine pairs well with grilled dishes, poultry, rabbit, meat dishes with sauce, terrines, and charcuterie, among others. It is also a suitable choice for soft cheeses such as Camembert and Brie, as well as goat cheese.
