Description
The vineyards in which the grapes for this wonderful red wine grow are located in Anguix, a small village at the beginning of the Duero Valley. The specific climatic conditions that characterize viticulture in the Ribera del Duero have a great influence on the entire vegetative cycle of the vines. They play a fundamental role in the development of the plant and the ripening of the grapes. 2015 was a vintage of excellent quality for Los Astrales. The most striking fact of this season was the small size of the grapes (approx. 20% less than usual), which led to rapid ripening. The early harvest and the heat, however, did not have a negative impact on the fruits.
