Garnacha Tintorera is the most representative grape variety of Almansa. The low-yield bush vines from which the grapes were harvested are over 60 years old and grow at over 1000 m above sea level. The soils there are rich in iron oxide on a limestone layer. This combination of elements makes the wine a true tasting experience. After a soft destemming, a 25-day maceration fermentation took place. The aging took place for 12 months in French and American barriques.
