Description

Anyone who has tasted wines from the Bolgheri area knows that they cannot go wrong with the Argentiniera Bolgheri Superiore. This red wine represents and reflects its terroir near the Maremma to perfection. Rich and silky on the palate, produced from grapes hand-picked from the best parts of the vineyard, which grow at approx. 180-200 meters above sea level. After the harvest, these were selected and processed in the cellar by gravity. The fermentation process and maceration took place within 25-30 days in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28-30°C. The malolactic fermentation then took place in 225-liter French oak barrels (50% of which were new). The Argentiniera Bolgheri Superiore then matured in barriques and in the bottle. The Argentiniera winery is one of the highest-lying wineries, located in the middle of the Bolgheri DOC area in the Maremma. The Maremma is the sovereign territory of Italian wine production. Tenuta Argentiniera attaches great importance to teamwork and is convinced that this is the only way to create excellent wines that will be remembered.
