The Bodegas Juan Gil winery is located in Jumilla in southeastern Spain. A place with extreme weather and strong contrasts. There are hot summers with intense sunshine, long and cold winters with temperature differences of 25 degrees between day and night, and almost no rainy days. These are the characteristics of this land that give the wine its character and distinguish it. The heart of the Jumilla region is the Monastrell grape variety. The grapes from which this red wine is made come from old vineyards, calcareous and stony, nutrient-poor soils, which are ideal for the cultivation of the Monastrell variety. Bodegas Juan Gil knows how to get the best out of this typical grape variety and create an exceptional wine.
