Villa Donoratico
Villa Donoratico is a quality red wine whose growing region is located in the heart of the Bolgheri area. This extremely complex red wine cuvée was produced from four different grape varieties. These were all harvested by hand and double-sorted in the cellar. Each grape variety was first treated separately and prepared for the fermentation process. Fermentation and maceration took place at a controlled temperature of 28°C in stainless steel tanks and lasted between 20 and 25 days. Subsequently, the wine was transferred to oak barrels for malolactic fermentation. Villa Donoratico matured for twelve months in barriques and was refined in the bottle. Tuscany is, alongside Piedmont, one of the most famous wine-growing regions in Italy. Plenty of sun, strong sea breezes and sufficient rain allow the vines to grow wonderfully on barren limestone, clay and sandstone soils and produce high-quality wines that make wine lovers all over the world rave.
