Description

The Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon vines for this Puro Blend grow in the high-altitude vineyards of Luján de Cuyo. The greatest advantage of this altitude is the cool nights. They delay the natural ripening process and thus allow the grapes to reach their full physiological maturity, to unfold a harmonious balance of alcohol-tannin-aromas, and at the same time to preserve a fresh acidity. Dieter Meier was born in Zurich in 1945. In the 1960s, he studied law. He swapped the desk for the poker table and became a professional poker player in the 1970s. Subsequently, he found several vocations, e.g., he was a restaurateur and band member of the electropop band "Yello". Later, he became interested in acting and became a director of numerous films and music videos. One of the best-known produced videos is "Big in Japan" by the world-famous group Alphaville, who were very successful in the 1980s.
