The vineyards where the grapes for this wonderful red wine grow are located in Anguix, a small village at the beginning of the Duero Valley. The particular climatic conditions that characterize viticulture in the Ribera del Duero have a great influence on the entire vegetative cycle of the vine. They play a fundamental role in the development of the plant and the ripening of the grapes. 2015 was a year of excellent quality for Los Astrales. The most relevant fact of this season was the small size of the grapes (about 20% less than usual), which led to rapid ripening. However, the early harvest and the heat did not have a negative effect on the fruit.
