In 1981, the Swiss couple Brigitte and Bruno Widmer took over the abandoned Brancaia estate. After only 2 years, Brancaia won first place in an important Chianti Classico tasting and gained international recognition. Today Brancaia is one of the main Tuscan wineries and receives important national and international awards every year. Brancaia “Tre” stands for the three different vineyards belonging to the Brancaia winery, whose grapes are carefully extracted and selected for vinification. A red wine of exceptional character, excellent structure and with a long and enveloping aftertaste.
