Château L'Evangile originates from the heart of the Pomerol plateau, on the right bank of the Dordogne. The 22 hectares of vineyards are located on heavy, clay-rich soils with a fine layer of gravel - the basis for powerful, deep and at the same time elegant Merlot wines. In the glass, Château L'Evangile shows a dark purple with garnet red reflections. The nose is dense and expressive, initially with aromas of red fruits, later enriched by notes of cedar wood, sage, violet, cocoa and fine smoke. On the palate, the wine is powerful yet silky. The tannins are soft, ripe and typical of great Merlot. Château L'Evangile is a wine for connoisseurs who appreciate finesse, texture and terroir expression - powerful, noble and of impressive aromatic depth.
