Binigrau
B Tinto red wine
Casa Rojo
The wine is mature, elegant and complex, with balsamic and slightly mentholated notes that harmoniously accompany flavors of red fruit. Produced with Monastrell grapes with a strong character, which grow in the mountains south of the Paraje de La Raja, the Machoman impressively reflects its terroir. The highly calcareous soils and the extremely dry climate represent a challenge for the vines and guarantee low yields, but at the same time produce exceptionally concentrated and high-quality grapes. The grapes for the Machoman come from seven carefully selected plots with vines aged between 20 and 45 years. The grapes were harvested by hand to select only the best material. This was followed by temperature-controlled fermentation at 26 °C in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then matured for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
