Casa Rojo consists of a small group of twelve wine gurus from six different regions in Spain. Among them are not only winemakers, but also designers and oenologists. The special thing about the wines from Casa Rojo is not only their excellent taste – they also attract enormous attention because of their outstanding labels. The 2020 vintage was an excellent vintage in La Ribera del Duero. A mild and rainy winter gave way to a temperate spring, which caused very rapid vegetation growth, and finally the hot and dry summer delayed the ripening of the grapes, except in the oldest vineyards with great root depth. 100% Tinto Fino, from the area of Castrillo de la Vega, at an average altitude of 800 meters, in the province of Burgos. The grapes come from old vineyards, between 26 and 50 years old, all owned by local winemakers. Its eye-catching label was designed by the designers of Casa Rojo Bande. It tells a 140-year-old story about war, peace, bandits, and virgins.
