Description

At Tirreni, all grapes are always strictly hand-picked and stored in crates. They are then placed directly into a destemmer with a coil where the fruits are turned. Beccaia Bolgheri Rosso matures for 8 months in French oak barriques. There it unfolds its fruity aromas in a very short time. A young wine with a very pleasant finish. The Tirreni winery was founded by Samuele Falciani (Doctor of Agricultural Economics) and Tomasso Rindi (oenologist). Both shared a passion for vines and winemaking during their studies. With zeal and entrepreneurial spirit, they settled in one of the most beautiful areas and founded their estate in Bolgheri in the upper Maremma. The name I Tirreni is derived from one of the various names that the Greeks gave to the inhabitants of the coast: the Etruscans.
