Description

The producer of the legendary Sassicaia is one of the best, most well-known and most renowned wine producers in Italy. It would be a shame to call Guidalberto a "second wine" or a "mini-Sassicaia", because Guidalberto is a great, successful and independent wine creation and deserves the utmost respect. The soils on which the vineyards are located are very calcareous and partly covered with clay. The vines grow between 100 and 300 meters above sea level and are exposed to the south-west. The grapes for this wine were harvested by hand. After a rigorous selection process, fermentation took place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26-28°C, without the addition of yeast. The process lasted 10-13 days for Cabernet Sauvignon and 13-16 days for Merlot. The wine then matured in French and American barriques. Guidalberto guarantees drinking pleasure and full enjoyment.
