Perenzo
Perenzo is a strong red wine from Tuscany. Its grapes come from the Poggio Bestiale and Tizzi vineyards in the Tuscan Maremma. The vines were planted between 2000 and 2008 and grow at an altitude of about 150-250 meters. After harvesting, the fruits are gently destemmed and subjected to maceration in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for 20-25 days. The resulting must is aged for 12 months in barriques. Finally, the wine is aged for a further 24 months in wooden barrels and another 12 months in the bottle. The Fattoria di Magliano winery was founded in 1997 by Agostino Lenci. He was working in the shoe trade when he decided to abandon this activity and dedicate himself to his dream, viticulture. He settled in beautiful Tuscany where he started a 97-hectare farm in the Maremma. Since then, wines have been produced there with passion, which have an independent character and successfully represent the region.
