Description
Dieter Meier was born in Zurich in 1945. In the 60s he studied law. He exchanged his desk for a poker table and became a professional poker player in the 70s. Subsequently, he found several callings, including being a restaurateur and a member of the electropop band "Yello". Later he became interested in acting and directed numerous films and music videos. One of the best-known videos produced is "Big in Japan" by the world-famous group Alphaville, which was very successful in the 80s. Today, the former artist and director pursues his newly discovered passion in Argentina. Before the turn of the millennium, he bought the Ojo de Agua land, where he produces exclusively organic products. The 2,200-hectare land is located near Mendoza. "It is our goal to produce the best organic wines in the world - and that is possible in Argentina!" -Dieter Meier-.
