The Banfi Marrucheto Brunello DOCG is a multi-award-winning red wine from Italy. Compared to other excellent wines, this elegant drop is still a relatively "young" wine. It was not until 2009 that the vines, from which only the best Sangiovese grapes were harvested, were planted in the popular wine-growing region of Montalcino in the southern part of Tuscany. After careful harvesting, they were transported to the cellar and fermented in temperature-controlled Horizon hybrid steel tanks and French oak barrels. The wine then matured for 30 months in French barriques, where it received its intense ruby red color and its elegant and fine aromas. A prestige wine that is excellent as a meditation wine and as a special drop for gifting. The Banfi winery was founded in 1978 by the two brothers John and Harry Mariani. From the beginning, it was clear to both of them that they wanted to produce wines of outstanding quality, and they succeeded with the help of oenologist Ezio Rivella, who belongs to Italy's elite in viticulture. The family winery also places a very high value on sustainability in all production processes.
