The Bodegas Aalto winery was founded in 1998 by winemaker Mariano Garcia. After 30 years as head winemaker and creator of the legendary, world-famous Vega Sicilia Unico wine, his goal was to use all his knowledge and experience to produce a unique, great wine - which he succeeded in doing in a very short time. Aalto has become one of the most sought-after "cult" wines of the Ribera del Duero, loved and praised by experts and connoisseurs all over the world. Only the best of the best is used for its production. The grapes for Aalto PS are obtained from 60-year-old vines. For this fruity and spicy wine, they are selected even more strictly than for the Aalto wine.
