Dieter Meier was born in Zurich in 1945. In the 60s he studied law. He swapped his desk for the poker table and became a professional poker player in the 70s. Afterwards he found several vocations, among others he was a restaurateur and band member of the electropop band "Yello". Later he became interested in acting and became a director of numerous films and music videos. One of the most famous produced videos is "Big in Japan" by the world-famous group Alphaville, who were very successful in the 80s. Today, the former artist and director pursues his newly discovered passion in Argentina. Before the end of the millennium, he bought the land of Ojo de Agua, where he dedicates himself exclusively to organic products. The 2,200 hectare land is located near Mendoza. "It is our goal to produce the best organic wines in the world, and that is possible in Argentina!" -Dieter Meier-.
