Description

Château Pavie is one of the most important wineries in Saint-Émilion and is known for powerful, profound and exceptionally long-lived wines. The cuvée of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon combines intense fruit and impressive concentration with elegance and freshness. The limestone-influenced terroir gives the wine additional tension and mineral precision. On the palate, it is dense and powerful with ripe, finely structured tannins and remarkable depth. The long aging in French barriques complements the concentrated dark fruit with fine roasted and spicy notes. A complex and characterful Saint-Émilion with extraordinary length and great aging potential.
