Luccarelli Old Vines Primitivo di Manduria DOP 750ml
Description
The grapes of the Luccarelli Old Vines Primitivo di Manduria were harvested in slight over-ripeness. Once destemmed and crushed, the grapes are macerated at a controlled temperature for 10-12 days with regular pumping over. Subsequently, the wine is racked and undergoes malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Finally, the wine matures for 12 months in American oak barriques. The Farnese Vini winery is a recent wine company. With over 20 million bottles per year, it is one of the leading companies in southern Italy in exports. In 2016, 2017 and 2019, the company was named best Italian wine producer by Luca Maroni. Mundus Vini elected it producer of the year in 2017.
