Zonin
Zonin Amarone della Valpolicella is one of the jewels produced by the Zonin winery. It is obtained from 3 different grape varieties: Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara. After the late harvest of overripe grapes, the fruits are dried during the winter for approx. 120 days in well-ventilated rooms on trays. Maceration on the skins lasts about 1 week, and the subsequent fermentation takes place at a controlled low temperature for approx. 30 days. The aging lasts 2 years in 30 hl Slavonian oak barrels. The wine then matures for a further 6 months in the bottle. A red wine of great stature, whose velvety taste gains aroma over time.
