Tua Rita is known for its wines with different levels of complexity. The Rosso dei Notri is a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, obtained from the youngest vineyards. And it has always introduced us to the complex and fascinating world of red wines from the Tua Rita winery. The grapes for this harmonious red wine come from the Colline Metallifere area, located in the upper Tuscan Maremma. They were carefully harvested by hand and transported to the cellar in 15 kg crates. After alcoholic fermentation, the grapes were vinified separately. The Sangiovese grapes were aged in stainless steel tanks, while the Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot were aged in French oak barrels. The Tua Rita winery is one of the best wineries in Italy. The company name comes from a simple inversion of Rita Tua's first and last name. Its portfolio includes wines such as the award-winning Per Siempre and Redigaffi, an organic Merlot that received 100 points from Decanter. Since 1984, the winery has been producing quality and traditional wines without compromise. Initially, the estate owned about two hectares of vineyards. These have been expanded over the years to 30 hectares.
