Description
The Saltner Pinot Nero Riserva from the Kaltern winery comes from selected vineyards at 400 to 550 meters above sea level. The differently aligned and well-ventilated sites benefit from cool night temperatures during the ripening period, while mineral marl on limestone gravel characterizes the soils. After mash fermentation and malolactic fermentation, the Pinot Nero matured for twelve months in barriques.
