A young and fresh wine, processed with slightly woody accents to maintain its youthful freshness, is presented here. The grapes used for this wine come from 10-40 year old vines. A total of only 60,000 bottles of this vintage were produced. The name Fabelhaft (Fabulous) was born when the winemaker Dirk van der Niepoort first gave the wine to his German friends to taste. Everyone was so enthusiastic about this finely structured wine that they gave it the name Fabelhaft. A wine that can be enjoyed every day and is pleasant to drink. No special moments or occasions are needed for this.
