Description

Giusto di Notri is an excellent wine whose vines grow in the upper Maremma, in the Colline Metallifere area. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc grape varieties were used for production. The Merlot grapes grow on clayey soils with a medium-high presence of skeleton. All grapes are hand-picked and transported to the cellar in 15 kg crates. There, alcoholic fermentation and maceration take place, after which the wine is transferred to new and once-used oak barrels where it matures for 18 months. A second aging in the bottle follows, lasting a few months. The Tua Rita estate takes its name from the founding couple Rita and Virgilio Tua. They bought a 2-hectare estate that now extends over a territory of over 30 hectares.
