Coop flyer this week: where to find it and how it works
Coop has no standalone weekly flyer: the deals appear in the Aktionsmagazin, inserted in the Coopzeitung newspaper, available in stores and readable online at coop.ch. New offers start every Thursday and run until Wednesday. You can search all Coop offers, compared neutrally, in the Rappn app.
Searchable and filterable by product, category, price and canton, right next to every other chain. No more flipping through the flyer.

Coop does not deliver a classic standalone flyer to Swiss letterboxes. The weekly deals appear in the Aktionsmagazin, a promotions magazine inserted in the Coopzeitung newspaper, available in stores and readable digitally on coop.ch. New offers start every Thursday and run until Wednesday, a rhythm in place since January 2025. All Coop offers are searchable in the Rappn app.
Rappn is the only neutral grocery price comparison app in Switzerland, with no commercial agreements with any retailer.
Where do you find the official Coop flyer?
What most people search for as the "Coop flyer" is officially called the Aktionsmagazin. It showcases the main deals of the week and does not arrive as a separate leaflet: it comes as an insert with the Coopzeitung newspaper and is also laid out in Coop stores (source: kleinreport.ch, markt-kom.com). The Coopzeitung itself is Switzerland's largest weekly newspaper, with a certified circulation of over 1.7 million copies (WEMF 2024), delivered free of charge to Supercard holders (source: Wikipedia/WEMF, kleinreport.ch).
Digitally, several routes work. On coop.ch you can browse the Aktionsmagazin and a full list of current weekly deals in the promotions section, and the site also runs in English, which is handy if your German is still a work in progress. The Supercard app shows the same offers plus personal coupons, and the Coopzeitung exists as an ePaper with an archive going back to 1902 (source: coop.ch, epaper.coopzeitung.ch).

When does the new Coop flyer come out?
Since January 2025 the Coopzeitung and the Aktionsmagazin have been published on Thursday instead of Tuesday. Coop moved the whole promotion week at the same time: new deals start on Thursday and run until Wednesday of the following week. The reasoning is simple: more and more customers do their big shop at the weekend, so the new offers now land just before it (source: Coop press release January 2025, kleinreport.ch, foodaktuell.ch).
Be careful with third-party flyer portals: some still carry outdated "from Tuesday" labels for Coop. The binding information is what Coop itself publishes in the Aktionsmagazin, on coop.ch and in the app.
Within the week, Coop staggers its offers further: Weekend Hits run Thursday to Sunday and Week-start Hits apply on Monday. How the whole system works, including the Supercard and Prix Garantie, is covered in the guide to Coop deals this week.
Are there regional editions of the Coop flyer?
The newspaper carrying the deals appears in three language editions: Coopzeitung for German-speaking Switzerland, Coopération for the French-speaking part with around 600,000 copies, and Cooperazione for Italian-speaking Switzerland with around 120,000 copies (source: Wikipedia/WEMF 2024). There is no English print edition, but coop.ch covers the same deals in English. The promotions are largely national, though individual offers can vary by store format or region, and the price on the shelf in your store is what counts.
The practical upshot: you do not need to compare several regional flyers. One look at the Aktionsmagazin or the app covers the whole week.
Can you stop the paper version and still catch every deal?
Not everyone wants weekly paper in the letterbox. You manage the Coopzeitung subscription through the subscription service on coopzeitung.ch, where you can opt in or out of the printed edition (source: coopzeitung.ch). You will not miss the deals: the Aktionsmagazin goes online at coop.ch every Thursday, and the offers appear in parallel in the Supercard app.
The catch with PDFs and ePapers: you browse instead of searching. If you want to know whether coffee, nappies or detergent are on offer this week, you scroll through dozens of pages, and you still have no comparison with other chains.
The searchable alternative to page-flipping
In the Rappn app, Coop's deals are not stored as flyer pages but as searchable offers: type in a product and see at once whether it is on promotion at Coop and what it costs at the same time at Migros, Aldi, Lidl, Denner, Aligro or Otto's. Over 10,000 offers, over 3,000 supermarkets, 100% free. That turns the weekly flyer into an actual price comparison, because a Coop deal is not automatically the best price of the week.
More on the topic: the overview of all Swiss supermarket flyers shows which retailer publishes when, and the cross-chain price comparison explains how to save across all chains.
Sources checked regularly: Coop press release on the promotion-day change (January 2025), kleinreport.ch, foodaktuell.ch, Wikipedia/WEMF 2024 on the Coopzeitung circulation, coop.ch and coopzeitung.ch. This week's exact promo prices are live in the Rappn app, not in this guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I find the current Coop flyer online?
The Aktionsmagazin can be browsed digitally in the promotions section of coop.ch, which also lists all current weekly deals and runs in English. The Supercard app and the Rappn app show the current Coop offers too, and in Rappn they are searchable and compared with other chains.
When does the new Coop flyer come out?
Every Thursday. Since January 2025 the Coopzeitung and the Aktionsmagazin have been published on Thursday, and the new deals run from Thursday until Wednesday of the following week. Before that, deals started on Tuesday, and the Weekend Hits additionally run Thursday to Sunday (source: Coop press release, kleinreport.ch).
Does Coop send a flyer to my letterbox?
The Aktionsmagazin arrives as an insert with the Coopzeitung newspaper, which Supercard holders receive free at home. It is also available in Coop stores. Coop does not distribute a separate standalone leaflet, and the magazine is always readable digitally on coop.ch.
Is there an English version of the Coop flyer?
There is no English print edition: the newspaper appears in German, French and Italian. However, coop.ch runs in English and shows the same weekly deals, and apps like Supercard and Rappn make the offers easy to follow without German.
Why do some flyer sites say Coop deals start on Tuesday?
Until January 2025 Coop deals did start on Tuesday, and some third-party portals never updated their texts. The current start day is Thursday, as communicated by Coop itself. When in doubt, trust what coop.ch and the Supercard app show (source: Coop press release, foodaktuell.ch).
How do I compare Coop deals with other supermarkets?
Fastest with a neutral price comparison: in the Rappn app you search for a product and see at once whether it is on promotion at Coop, Migros, Aldi, Lidl, Denner, Aligro or Otto's. That shows you whether the Coop deal really is the best price of the week.
