Lidl and Aldi Non-Food Deals in Switzerland: Silvercrest, Parkside & Co. Decoded

Lidl Schweiz and Aldi Suisse start their non-food waves twice a week, on Monday and on Thursday (lidl.ch and aldi-suisse.ch, both retrieved 3 August 2026), while Migros, Coop and Denner have started uniformly on Thursday since 5 February 2026. This guide sets out which house brand covers what, what published tests actually prove about Parkside, and what is documented on warranty and returns.

At Lidl Schweiz and Aldi Suisse, the non-food deals start twice a week, on Monday and on Thursday. That is the key difference from Migros, Coop and Denner, which have all started their weekly promotions on Thursday since 5 February 2026 (corporate.migros.ch and the Denner press release, both 26 January 2026). At Lidl these waves run under house brands such as SILVERCREST, PARKSIDE and CRIVIT; at Aldi Suisse they run under AMBIANO, CROFTON, HOME CREATION, NOVITESSE, BELAVI or LILY & DAN (lidl.ch and aldi-suisse.ch, both retrieved on 3 August 2026). And both chains work with a fixed on-shelf date rather than a restock: the dated wave page on aldi-suisse.ch for 6 August 2026 simply says "verfügbar ab 06.08.2026" — available from 6 August 2026.

Last checked: August 2026.

Sources checked on an ongoing basis. Promotion rhythm, flyer names and brand names: lidl.ch (homepage, "Werbeprospekte als PDF", theme pages "Alles für deine Küche" and "CRIVIT – Find your move") and aldi-suisse.ch (homepage and the dated wave page for 6.8.2026), both retrieved on 3 August 2026. Warranty and returns in the online shop: ALDI SUISSE terms and conditions, dated July 2025. Product tests: Stiftung Warentest (test.de), garden hoses of 22 June 2026 (issue 7/2026), cordless impact drill-drivers of 16 May 2025, and pressure washers of 23 February 2026; result lines freely visible on test.de, individual grades paywalled. Assortment size: German Wikipedia entry "Aldi Suisse", retrieved 3 August 2026. The Thursday switch: corporate.migros.ch and the Denner press release, both 26 January 2026. We deliberately quote no promotional prices here: they are only valid while the wave in question is running.

When do the non-food deals start at Lidl and Aldi?

Twice a week, and on the same rhythm at both discounters: Monday and Thursday. On 3 August 2026 the lidl.ch homepage showed a wave "ab Donnerstag, 30.7." and a wave "ab Montag, 3.8." at the same time. Aldi Suisse makes the pattern even more explicit: its homepage links to dated wave pages for Monday 27.7., Thursday 30.7., Monday 3.8., Thursday 6.8. and Monday 10.8. 2026.

The printed flyer only shows part of that. On the "Werbeprospekte als PDF" page of lidl.ch, the main flyer LIDL AKTUELL KW31 carried the validity "30.7. - 5.8." and the following one, KW32, "6.8. - 12.8." — Thursday through Wednesday of the next week. The Monday wave runs alongside it. On top of that come special flyers with their own run time, such as "August - Reise-Highlights", valid "29.7. - 31.8.".

In practice: if you only look on Thursday, you miss roughly half of the non-food programme at these two chains.

Silvercrest, Parkside, Crivit: which Lidl brand stands for what?

The three names people search for most in Switzerland are also the three that were actually visible on lidl.ch on 3 August 2026. SILVERCREST appeared on the theme page "Alles für deine Küche", which according to lidl.ch started "ab Montag, 3.8."; there the brand covers kitchen and household appliances. CRIVIT had a theme page of its own titled "CRIVIT – Find your move" with a start of "ab Donnerstag, 6.8."; it is the sport and leisure brand. PARKSIDE was present on the homepage among the workshop and tool items.

One point that matters for searching: these brands are not permanent shelf ranges, they are promotional lines. A SILVERCREST appliance you see this week will not necessarily be back in four weeks — and if it is, it is often a different model with a different type designation. Watching the brand plus the category therefore pays off more than waiting for one specific model.

Other Lidl house brands circulate on German forums, but they were not visible on the Swiss site during our check. We therefore do not name them here: what appears in a German flyer does not have to carry the same name in Switzerland, and does not have to arrive at all.

And at Aldi Suisse? The brands behind the middle aisle

Aldi Suisse works with noticeably more non-food brands than Lidl, but each one is cut to a specific category. On the dated wave page for 6 August 2026 (aldi-suisse.ch, retrieved 3 August 2026) these names were documented:

BrandCategoryWhat we saw on aldi-suisse.ch (wave from 6.8.2026)

CASALUXlightingoutdoor table lamp, LED strip with motion sensor
EASY HOMEhousehold helpersdamage-free hooks
CRANEsport and sockswomen's cushioned socks
LILY & DANchildren's clothingkids' jeans, long-sleeve shirts, underwear

BAUHN and TOYLINO appeared in the homepage brand strip on the same day; we could not document which category they cover in Switzerland, so we do not claim one.

Why so many brands are needed has to do with store size. The German Wikipedia entry on Aldi Suisse (retrieved 3 August 2026) describes "Verkaufsflächen von 1000 m² mit einem Sortiment von ca. 1300 Artikeln" — around 1,300 items on 1,000 m². A permanent range with tools, bedding, children's clothes and lamps would not fit into that. The rotation is not a marketing trick, then, but a consequence of the store format.

Is Parkside any good? What the published tests actually show

Precision matters here, because a lot gets claimed online. What is documented: Stiftung Warentest regularly includes Lidl's PARKSIDE in its test panels. In the garden-hose test of 22 June 2026 (test.de, issue 7/2026), the "Lidl: Parkside Flexi-Gartenschlauchset, 30 m" was among 15 hoses tested. In the cordless impact drill-driver test of 16 May 2025, titled "Akku-Schlagbohrschrauber – Besser bohren, schöner schrauben", the "Lidl Parkside: 20 V PSBSAP 20-Li C3" was included. And in the pressure-washer test of 23 February 2026, titled "Hochdruckreiniger im Test – Es muss nicht Kärcher sein", the "Lidl: Parkside PHD 170 D2" was in the field; the only freely visible line there reads "Ausgerechnet einer der günstigsten Hochdruckreiniger schafft den Testsieg" — one of the cheapest pressure washers takes the test win.

What we deliberately do not write: that Parkside won those tests. The individual grades sit behind the test.de paywall, and the freely visible line does not say which device is meant. On top of that comes a caveat that matters for readers in Switzerland: Stiftung Warentest is a German organisation and tests the German assortment. Model designations and specifications can differ here, so a German verdict is an indication, not proof for the unit on a Swiss shelf.

Warranty and returns: what is documented, and what is not?

The Aldi Suisse online route is. The terms and conditions for the ALDI online shop (aldi-suisse.ch, dated July 2025) state: "Die gesetzliche Gewährleistungsfrist beträgt 2 Jahre ab Erhalt der Ware" — the statutory warranty period is two years from receipt of the goods. For online orders Aldi Suisse additionally grants a return window "innerhalb von 30 Tagen nach Zustellung", with the goods required by the same terms to be "unbenutzt, unbeschädigt und original verpackt", that is unused, undamaged and in the original packaging. On availability the text is explicit: "ALDI SUISSE liefert solange der Vorrat reicht."

Two clarifications matter here, because they are easy to miss. First, by their own scope these terms apply to the online shop, not to a purchase in a branch, so nothing about returning an item at the till can be derived from them. Second, we could not retrieve a publicly accessible returns or warranty page for Lidl Schweiz during this check, so we deliberately state neither a deadline nor a guarantee length for Lidl. In both cases, keep the receipt and the packaging, and when in doubt ask the chain's customer service directly.

Why is the non-food item gone by day three?

Because the quantity per branch is fixed and not restocked. The chains put it that way themselves: Aldi Suisse writes "solange der Vorrat reicht" — while stocks last — in its online-shop terms, and its wave pages carry no end date, only a start date, "verfügbar ab 06.08.2026". A non-food item is therefore not a shelf product with resupply, but a one-off delivery that lands on the shelf on a specific day.

Three practical consequences follow. First, the start day is what counts, not the weekend. Second, because Lidl and Aldi run two waves a week, there are two relevant days rather than one — at Migros, Coop and Denner it has uniformly been Thursday since 5 February 2026. Third, flipping through a flyer does not replace comparing, because the same type of item can be on promotion at another chain in the same week.

Whether a particular non-food item is worth it for you depends: on the category, on the week, and on what else happens to be on promotion. No guide can answer that in general — only the live offer can. That is exactly what Rappn is built for: over 10,000 current promotions from seven chains — Migros, Coop, Aldi Suisse, Lidl, Denner, Aligro and Otto's — sit side by side and searchable, instead of being scattered across seven PDF flyers.

How do you catch the drop without visiting the store every day?

With a routine rather than luck. Fix the two start days you actually check: Monday and Thursday for Lidl and Aldi, Thursday for Migros, Coop and Denner. Then set a price-drop alert in Rappn on the products or categories you genuinely care about, so the app tells you instead of you leafing through flyers daily. For anything you buy together with others, the shared shopping list helps; loyalty cards live in the card wallet so you are not hunting for them at the till.

Two tools help most with non-food. Unit-price comparison works wherever pack sizes vary — for detergent, batteries or adhesive tape, the price per unit says more than the shelf label. And receipt scanning shows you afterwards what you actually bought during a promotion week.

Next step: look at the two discounters' running promotions directly — live Lidl offers and live Aldi offers, searchable and filterable by product, category, price and canton. Which chain starts its week when is set out in our overview of Swiss supermarket catalogues. Rappn is free and is not paid by any chain.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do Lidl and Aldi non-food deals drop in Switzerland?

At both discounters twice a week, on Monday and on Thursday. On 3 August 2026 lidl.ch showed the waves "ab Donnerstag, 30.7." and "ab Montag, 3.8." at the same time, and aldi-suisse.ch linked to dated wave pages for 27.7., 30.7., 3.8., 6.8. and 10.8. 2026. Migros, Coop and Denner, by contrast, have started their weekly promotions uniformly on Thursday since 5 February 2026 (corporate.migros.ch and the Denner press release, both 26 January 2026).

What is Silvercrest at Lidl Switzerland?

SILVERCREST is the Lidl house brand for kitchen and household appliances. On 3 August 2026 it appeared on lidl.ch on the theme page "Alles für deine Küche", which according to that same page started "ab Montag, 3.8.". Like the other non-food lines, SILVERCREST is not a permanent range but a promotional line: the brand comes back, often with different models.

What do Parkside and Crivit stand for?

PARKSIDE is the Lidl line for tools and workshop items, CRIVIT the one for sport and leisure. On 3 August 2026 CRIVIT had its own theme page on lidl.ch titled "CRIVIT – Find your move" with a start of "ab Donnerstag, 6.8.", while PARKSIDE was present on the homepage among the tool items.

Which non-food brands does Aldi Suisse use?

The dated aldi-suisse.ch wave page for 6 August 2026 (retrieved 3 August 2026) documented AMBIANO (small appliances), BELAVI (garden), GARDENLINE (plants), HOME CREATION (décor and home), NOVITESSE (bedding), CROFTON (kitchen), CASALUX (lighting), EASY HOME (household helpers), CRANE (sport and socks) and LILY & DAN (children's clothing). On the same day the homepage brand strip also listed BAUHN and TOYLINO, whose category we could not document.

Is Lidl Parkside any good, and has it been tested?

Stiftung Warentest regularly includes PARKSIDE in its panels: the "Lidl: Parkside Flexi-Gartenschlauchset, 30 m" among 15 hoses in the garden-hose test of 22 June 2026 (issue 7/2026), the "Lidl Parkside: 20 V PSBSAP 20-Li C3" in the cordless impact drill-driver test of 16 May 2025, and the "Lidl: Parkside PHD 170 D2" in the pressure-washer test of 23 February 2026, where the only freely visible line reads "Ausgerechnet einer der günstigsten Hochdruckreiniger schafft den Testsieg" — one of the cheapest pressure washers takes the test win. Which device that was sits behind the test.de paywall, so there is no evidence that Parkside won. Stiftung Warentest is also a German organisation testing the German assortment.

Can I return a non-food item to Aldi Suisse?

What is documented is the online route: the ALDI online-shop terms (aldi-suisse.ch, dated July 2025) provide a return window "innerhalb von 30 Tagen nach Zustellung" for goods that are "unbenutzt, unbeschädigt und original verpackt", and state "Die gesetzliche Gewährleistungsfrist beträgt 2 Jahre ab Erhalt der Ware" — a two-year statutory warranty from receipt. By their own scope these terms apply to the online shop, not to a purchase in a branch. For Lidl Schweiz we could not retrieve a publicly accessible returns or warranty page, so we state no deadline.
