Same-day fresh: myMigros
For fresh groceries there is myMigros, the same-day service of a regional cooperative (Migros Aare, since expanded). Order by around 11:00 and delivery comes from 18:00. Note: the former free delivery above an order value has been dropped – a delivery fee now generally applies. For a big dry-goods shop many still use the classic Migros Online dispatch.
Alcohol online only – why?
A Migros quirk: in the stores there is no alcohol – this traces to the founding principles, and members confirmed the ban on 4 June 2022 (all ten cooperatives voted No). Online, however, Migros sells wine, beer and spirits – handled via its subsidiary Denner as a shop-in-shop. It is a deliberately decided arrangement, not a contradiction: the store decision applied only to the shops, not to online.

Migros is building a large automated distribution centre in Regensdorf (around 21,000 articles, around 7,500 orders per day) that expands same-day delivery in the Zurich area. Online retail stays fiercely contested – Migros is not automatically the biggest or the cheapest online.
