How much does Cumulus really return?
The basic rule is simple: 100 Cumulus points equal CHF 1: about 1% back on your shopping. From 500 points you get a CHF 5 voucher that you redeem like cash. Vouchers are issued bi-monthly with the statement, not on demand. The percentage is a base rate, with points multipliers and coupons it can be temporarily higher.
Aktionen: a new rhythm since February 2026
Since 5 February 2026, Migros Aktionen now run Thursday to Wednesday instead of starting on Tuesday; the Migros magazine is delivered on Wednesday. The subsidiary Denner also switched to a Thursday start. Coop made the same change about a year earlier, if you plan around promotions, know the new weekly rhythm.
Don't forget digital coupons
In the Migros app you can activate digital coupons that are auto-redeemed at checkout via the Cumulus card. They are the most easily overlooked savings lever.
