How fast does Migros Online deliver?
Migros Online is a next-day service, not an instant one. The semi-automated Regensdorf distribution centre went live at the end of May 2026, replacing the Pratteln and Bremgarten sites, but that does not change what arrives at your door: orders still land the following day in the slot you picked. Migros Online has not launched a general same-day service as of August 2026.
Delivery within 60 minutes exists only through the Just Eat partnership of 4 May 2026, which delivers a Migros assortment of more than 10,000 articles at regular store prices, and only in Geneva, Valais and Ticino. Smood, which used to play that role in other cities, ceased all operations on 30 April 2026 (reporting: 20 Minuten and Tages-Anzeiger, February to April 2026). In Zurich, Bern or Basel there is therefore no on-demand Migros delivery any more: the next-day order is the route.
Are online prices the same as in-store?
Officially yes: Migros charges the same product prices online as in the branch (source: migros.ch). In practice the online basket is often dearer, because only about two-thirds of the M-Budget line is available online, miss the budget item and a pricier one ends up in the basket (nau.ch example: M-Budget mineral water CHF 1.45 in-store vs Aquella CHF 3.30 online, early 2022). A saldo basket comparison (issue 01/2022, 18 January 2022) found that at Coop the shop cost almost the same online and in store, while at Migros the gap was large. Coop puts nearly all of its Prix Garantie line online, so it mirrors shelf prices better.
Is the delivery pass worth it?
The pass covers delivery fees, but the consumer magazine saldo criticised it (2021): you still have to spend at least CHF 99 per order. For occasional shoppers it rarely pays off.
Who is Migros Online worth it for?
Migros Online suits the planned big shop from CHF 99, heavy items like water and drinks, and anyone who can't buy alcohol in the store. For budget-conscious shopping it's less suited: with the incomplete M-Budget availability and the delivery fee, the cheap basket is often better in-store, or online at coop.ch. In short:

When does delivery pay off, and when the store?
The real question is not whether Migros Online is good in general, but whether home delivery pays off for your particular shop. What matters is the weight, the planning and the price focus of your basket. If you reach the CHF 99 minimum order anyway, look above all at how heavy the goods are and how price-sensitive you shop.
As a rule of thumb: the heavier and bulkier your planned big shop, the more delivery earns its keep. For a small or strongly price-focused basket, the local store or coop.ch is often the better fit.
