Description
Château Barde-Haut is one of the emerging top wineries in Saint-Émilion and shows impressively how fine and precise Merlot-dominated wines from the limestone-rich slopes of the appellation can be. A bouquet of dark cherry fruit, blackberries and cassis, supplemented by floral nuances. With air, subtle roasted aromas, dark chocolate and mineral accents develop. On the palate, it shows medium to full-bodied, silky and structured at the same time. The Château Barde-Haut is a powerful and at the same time wonderfully polished Saint-Émilion with mineral tension and great aging potential - already accessible now, but with many years of beautiful development ahead of it.
