This wonderfully concentrated Amarone is produced from the best grapes of the Costalunga estate, in S. Ambrogio in the classic Valpolicella area, a land full of meanings, traditions and a wonderful food and wine culture. An elegant and precious drop with a very velvety finish. After careful manual selection, the grapes for the Amarone Classico are left to rest in small crates in the fruit store and then gently pressed. They are then fermented on the skins for approx. 20 days at a controlled temperature of 25°C. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for at least 36 months. Sergio Zenato, the ambitious founder of the winery, invested a lot of time and energy in 1960 to produce wines of the highest quality using new preparation techniques with local grape varieties. Today his wife Carla runs the family business. Together with their children, they produce quality wines with the same passion and tenacity and sell them in over 60 countries.
