The weekend Knaller is exactly where cross-checking pays off, because a Knaller price at Denner is not automatically the cheapest price of the week. The same product can be on promotion at another chain at the same time.
Where do you find the official Denner flyer?
The first stop is denner.ch. It lists the current week's deals plus a section called "Aktionen ab Donnerstag" (deals from Thursday) with the upcoming offers. Whether it lands in your letterbox depends on your mailbox: households with a "no advertising" sticker generally do not receive unaddressed mailings. Deals now start on Thursday: the rhythm since February 2026
Until early February 2026, Denner deals ran Tuesday to Monday. Since 5 February 2026 they start on Thursday and run until Wednesday of the following week. Denner explains the move with shopping behaviour: more and more customers do their big shop between Thursday and Saturday (source: Denner press release, watson.ch, February 2026). Migros switched on the same day, and Coop has started its promotion week on Thursday since January 2025. All three big Swiss retailers now begin their promo weeks on the same weekday, which makes direct comparison easier than before.
