Lidl flyer Switzerland: when the new leaflet comes out and where to find it

Updated regularly. The Lidl flyer in Switzerland changes every week: the LIDL AKTUELL leaflet usually runs from Thursday to the Wednesday of the following week, with a second wave of offers starting Monday (source: lidl.ch). You can read it as a PDF on lidl.ch, in the Lidl Plus app or via WhatsApp. Prefer searching to flipping? All Lidl offers are live in Rappn.

Sources checked regularly: lidl.ch (Werbeprospekte als PDF, Lidl Plus, how Lidl Plus offers work, Super Wochenende promo pages). This week's exact prices are live in the Rappn app, not in this guide.

Rappn is the only neutral grocery price comparison app in Switzerland, with no commercial agreements with any retailer.

When does the new Lidl flyer come out?

Lidl Switzerland numbers its weekly leaflet by calendar week: on lidl.ch it appears as LIDL AKTUELL followed by a KW number, short for Kalenderwoche, and it is valid from Thursday to the Wednesday of the following week (source: lidl.ch, Werbeprospekte als PDF). Thursday is therefore the main promo day of the week. On top of that comes a second wave: next to the offers from Thursday, the lidl.ch homepage regularly lists offers starting Monday, often for non-food ranges and themed worlds.

Here are the typical building blocks of a Lidl week:

Building blockValid (typical)What it is
LIDL AKTUELL (weekly flyer)Thursday to WednesdayThe classic weekly grocery and fresh-food promotions, printed and as PDF
Offers from Mondayfrom MondaySecond wave of offers, often non-food and rotating themed worlds
Super Wochenendemostly Thursday to SaturdayShort weekend promotions with especially sharp prices
Non-food themed worldschange weeklyKitchen, garden, sport or fashion, only while stocks last
Lidl Plus offersongoingApp discounts that do not appear in the printed flyer

One detail worth knowing about the Super Wochenende, Lidl's weekend deals: in 2026 the promo pages on lidl.ch mostly showed a Thursday start, while in earlier years the weekend offers often began on Friday. Do not rely on a fixed start day; check the validity dates in the current flyer or directly in the app.

Where do you find the Lidl flyer online?

You do not need to wait for a paper flyer in your letterbox. Lidl Switzerland publishes it through several digital channels:

  • PDF on lidl.ch: the page "Werbeprospekte als PDF" carries the current weekly leaflet and themed flyers for download (source: lidl.ch).
  • Lidl Plus app: the app shows the digital flyers plus the app-only discounts and your digital receipt (source: lidl.ch).
  • WhatsApp: on the flyer page of lidl.ch you can subscribe to the new offers as a WhatsApp update.
  • Newsletter: if you prefer email, the new offers also arrive by newsletter.

A budgeting note: promotions generally run only while stocks last, and availability can vary from store to store. A price in the flyer is not a guarantee that the product will still be on the shelf on Saturday evening.

Why the flyer does not show every Lidl price

The printed flyer covers the broad weekly promotions, but not the app prices. Inside the Lidl Plus app there are two extra discount tiers: Lidl Plus offers, which apply without activation and can be used several times, and personal coupons, which you activate first and redeem once (source: lidl.ch, how Lidl Plus offers work). If you only read the flyer, you miss part of the discounts. Our guide to Lidl Plus in Switzerland explains the programme in detail, including the points system.

The reverse is also true: a Lidl flyer price or app discount is not automatically the cheapest price in Switzerland. Migros, Coop, Aldi or Denner can sell the same product for less in the same week. For the discounter head-to-head, see Aldi vs Lidl vs Denner.

Flip through the flyer, or search it?

A flyer is built for flipping: page by page, in the order the retailer chooses. If you want to know whether butter, coffee or nappies are cheaper anywhere this week, you need the opposite direction: type in a product and see all chains at once. That is exactly what Rappn does. You search for the product and see the current Lidl offers next to Migros, Coop, Aldi, Denner, Aligro and Otto's, filterable by category, price and canton.

This guide deliberately names no specific weekly prices, because they change every Thursday. The current Lidl offers, including the Super Wochenende, are in the Rappn app, updated daily and compared neutrally. Over 10,000 offers, over 3,000 supermarkets, 100% free.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does the new Lidl flyer come out in Switzerland?

The weekly leaflet LIDL AKTUELL is numbered by calendar week and usually valid from Thursday to the Wednesday of the following week (source: lidl.ch). A second wave of offers regularly starts on Monday. Thursday is therefore the main day for new Lidl promotions in Switzerland.

Where can I download the Lidl Switzerland flyer as a PDF?

On lidl.ch, the page "Werbeprospekte als PDF" offers the current weekly leaflet and themed flyers for download (source: lidl.ch). The same flyer is available digitally in the Lidl Plus app, and you can also subscribe to the new offers via WhatsApp or the newsletter.

What is the Lidl Super Weekend?

The Super Wochenende is a set of short promotions with especially sharp prices around the weekend. According to the promo pages on lidl.ch, in 2026 they mostly started on Thursday, while in earlier years they often began on Friday. Check the exact validity in the current flyer or in the app; offers run only while stocks last.

Why does the Lidl Plus app show different prices than the flyer?

The app carries two extra discount tiers that never appear in the printed flyer: Lidl Plus offers, which need no activation and can be used several times, and personal coupons, which you activate first and redeem once (source: lidl.ch). For the full picture you need both the flyer and the app.

Is the Lidl flyer valid across all of Switzerland?

The weekly promotions generally run nationwide, but all offers are valid only while stocks last, and the availability of individual items can vary by store. A flyer price is therefore no guarantee that the product is still in stock at your local branch.

Is there an alternative to flipping through the flyer?

Yes. In the Rappn app you search directly for a product and see the current Lidl offers next to Migros, Coop, Aldi, Denner, Aligro and Otto's, filterable by category, price and canton. It is the fastest way to check whether a flyer price really is the best of the week. Rappn is 100% free.
