As of June 2026. Lidl Plus is the digital loyalty app from Lidl Switzerland, and since September 2024 it has run its own points scheme. According to the official Lidl Switzerland press release (corporate.lidl.ch, 2 September 2024), Switzerland is the first Lidl country in the world to roll out collectible points in Lidl Plus nationwide. How does Lidl Plus work in Switzerland?

Lidl Plus is fully digital. There is no plastic card like the Migros Cumulus card or the Coop Supercard: you download the app, create an account, and scan the code from the app at the till when you pay. That applies your activated coupons and credits your Lidl points. There are two core mechanics to understand.

First, the digital coupons: you have to activate these in the app before you shop, otherwise they will not apply at the checkout. Second, the Lidl Punkte scheme: per lidl.ch you earn one point for every franc paid, regardless of the product. The earlier scratch-card model has been replaced by this points system. You also get every receipt stored digitally in the app under the receipts menu.

Lidl points: what does the scheme actually give you?

You earn one Lidl point per franc spent, per lidl.ch. Once you have collected enough, you can swap them at any time for a coupon of your choice. The first reward is available from 35 points according to the official Lidl Switzerland press release, and the catalogue holds over 250 rewards. You choose between a free product and a monetary discount. Data and privacy: what does Lidl Plus collect?
