The Le Serre Nuove shows impressively why Ornellaia is one of the leading wineries of Bolgheri. As the second wine of the famous house, it combines the typical refinement, structure and finesse of the Tuscan coast and presents itself particularly balanced, expressive and accessible. In the glass, it shines in an intense purple red. The bouquet convinces with aromas of ripe black fruits, fine spice nuances and delicately toasted wood hints. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and juicy, carried by a powerful, densely structured tannin architecture. Its excellent balance of fruit, structure and freshness gives it elegance and tension at the same time. The long, smooth finish underlines the class of the wine. Already in its youth, the Le Serre Nuove offers great drinking pleasure, but develops additional complexity and depth with a few years of maturity.
