Description

This Casa di Terra Maronea is a great wine with enormous potential from Bolgheri, Italy. The vines for this wine were planted in the best sites of Casa di Terra. The grape variety for this cuvée is pure Cabernet Sauvignon. It was harvested by hand in small crates and then spontaneously fermented in steel tanks at 26-28°C with 25 days of contact with the must. This is followed by a further aging of 18 months in 50% new French oak barriques. Perfect to accompany dishes such as Tuscan Chianina fillet and truffle-based dishes.
