The Argiolas Costera is an Italian red wine from Sardinia and belongs to the Cannonau di Sardegna DOC designation of origin. The 2023 vintage convinces with intense fruit aromas and a harmonious structure. In the glass, the wine presents itself in deep ruby red with garnet-red reflections. In the nose, aromas of ripe strawberries, black cherries, as well as fine herb and spice notes unfold. On the palate, the Costera shows itself balanced, fruit-forward, and pleasantly soft with elegant tannins and mineral freshness. The long, spicy finish rounds off the taste experience. The maturation in barriques and cement tanks gives the wine additional depth and structure. The red wine fits ideally with grilled meat, pizza, pasta, or mild game dishes and is recommended at a drinking temperature of about 16°C.
