Denner deals next week: how to preview the Folgewoche

Denner publishes next week's deals before they start. According to denner.ch, the following week (the "Folgewoche") appears online from Monday, the printed Denner Woche flyer arrives on Wednesday inside the Migros-Magazin, and the new prices go live on Thursday and run until the following Wednesday. That gives you several days to plan your shop ahead.

When can you see next week's Denner deals?

Denner runs a dedicated section on denner.ch called "Aktionen ab Donnerstag" (deals from Thursday). It lists the complete following week, with products, promo prices and validity dates, before the deals reach the stores. According to denner.ch, the following week's promotions appear online from Monday (as of June 2026). In early July 2026, for example, the promotion week of 2 to 8 July was already online while the overview page still showed the previous week.

So the earliest look at next week is digital. If you prefer print, the Denner Woche flyer has been delivered on Wednesdays inside the Migros-Magazin since the February 2026 change, one day before the deals start (source: denner.ch press release). The free deals newsletter goes out on Thursday according to denner.ch, so it lands only once the promotions have already started and is less useful as a preview channel.

The Denner promotion cycle in 2026: Thursday to Wednesday

Since 5 February 2026, Denner's weekly deals start on Thursday and run until the Wednesday of the following week. They previously began on Tuesday. Denner explains the move with shopping behaviour: customers increasingly do their biggest shop at the weekend (source: denner.ch press release, January 2026, confirmed by foodaktuell.ch, watson.ch and 20 Minuten). The Wochenend-Knaller, Denner's weekend special, now lasts four days instead of two and runs Thursday to Sunday.

• Weekly deals (Wochenaktionen): Thursday to Wednesday, for example 2 to 8 July 2026 (observed on denner.ch).
• Weekend specials (Wochenend-Knaller): Thursday to Sunday, in the same example week 2 to 5 July 2026.
• Short formats like the Wochenstart-Knaller: appear in some weeks on top and end with the cycle on Wednesday; start and scope vary.
• Wine deals: rotating offers from the famous Denner wine range, usually alongside the promo week.

For planning purposes: whatever you see in the preview goes live on Thursday. The weekend specials in it are over by Sunday evening, while the regular weekly deals run until Wednesday.

How to plan next week's shop with the preview

With several days of lead time, the weekly shop is easy to schedule. A simple routine:

• Monday: skim the following week on denner.ch or in the app and note which of your staples get cheaper from Thursday.
• Monday to Wednesday: check whether the same product is already on promotion in the current week. If the current discount is better, buy by Wednesday. If next week brings the better offer, wait until Thursday.
• Wednesday: flip through the Denner Woche in the Migros-Magazin as a final check before the start.
• Thursday to Sunday: schedule the big shop here if you want the weekend specials, because they end on Sunday.

One thing is easy to forget: Denner's preview shows only Denner. Aldi and Lidl typically release new deals on Mondays and Thursdays, and Migros and Coop also start their promotion weeks on Thursday. A product that only goes on promotion at Denner next week may already be cheaper somewhere else this week. Buy this week or wait for next week?

There is no blanket answer, which is exactly why looking at both weeks pays off. If your product currently carries a big discount, waiting is risky, because nobody guarantees that next week will top it.
