Does Lidl Switzerland deliver groceries to your home? The 2026 online-shop check

No — Lidl Switzerland does not deliver groceries to your home. The lidl.ch online shop only sells services and non-food (Lidl Connect, Lidl travel, gift cards); the "Click & Pick" feature is non-food reserved for in-store pickup, not groceries. To get groceries delivered, use Coop@home, Migros Online or Aldi-now. Last updated: July 2026.

The short answer: Lidl does not bring your groceries home in Switzerland. Lidl's model is its stores plus the Lidl Plus loyalty app. The "Foodbox" meal-kit launched in 2017 (delivered by post) was discontinued back in 2019 (sources: Blick, Tages-Anzeiger).

Who delivers groceries instead?

ServiceKey facts
Aldi-now (discounter alternative)since Dec 2021; minimum CHF 50; fee CHF 6.90–11.90; often same-day; larger cities
Coop@home (coop.ch)nationwide; minimum CHF 99.90; free from CHF 200
Migros Onlinenationwide; minimum CHF 99; over 12,500 products

If you want the low discounter price, Aldi-now is the only discounter home delivery; for the full range, Coop and Migros deliver. Beware old 2017 articles claiming "Lidl delivers food to your home" — that service ended in 2019.

Why doesn't Lidl deliver — and what does that mean for you?

Lidl's business model leans firmly on low in-store prices rather than costly delivery logistics: the saving comes from a lean operation that home delivery would eat back up. For you, that means three things. If you want discounter prices delivered, Aldi-now is the only option. If you want the Lidl range, it's the store — and the Lidl Plus app to collect the digital coupons. And if you simply want the cheapest weekly shop, store or delivery, it's best to compare the chains first. A glance at the current promotions often decides more than the question "delivery or not".

Lidl often remains the cheapest store — but whether the store, a discounter or a delivery wins for your weekly shop depends on the promotions. Rappn compares every chain's prices live and neutrally, so you see the cheapest option.
