Description

The Campaner Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva from the Kaltern winery comes from south-facing slopes at 250 to 350 meters above sea level. The Mediterranean-influenced sea climate around Kaltern as well as loamy soils with limestone gravel and pebbles create favorable conditions for the late-ripening grape variety. After mash fermentation and malolactic fermentation, the Cabernet Sauvignon matured for twelve months in barriques and large wooden barrels.
