Lidl Deals Next Week in Switzerland: Where the Preview Actually Sits

Lidl Schweiz runs two promotion waves a week, one starting Monday and one starting Thursday, and both preview channels run ahead of the start day, though not by the same margin. On lidl.ch the offers are grouped by start date and rounds that are not yet valid sit under Demnächst: when we checked on Saturday 5 September 2026, the running round "ab Donnerstag, 3.9." already sat next to "ab Montag, 7.9.", "ab Donnerstag, 10.9." and "ab Montag, 14.9.". The PDF leaflet follows later. On 5 September only LIDL AKTUELL KW36, valid 3.9. to 9.9., was online; on 6 September LIDL AKTUELL KW37, valid 10.9. to 16.9., was added, four days before it starts. The offers page is the faster channel, the leaflet arrives shortly before the start day.

When do next week's Lidl deals appear?

At Lidl the question has two answers instead of one, because the chain runs two waves a week. Migros, Coop and Denner start their promotion week on Thursday: Coop since the week of 21 January 2025, Migros and Denner since 5 February 2026. Lidl Schweiz and Aldi Suisse publish new offers twice, on Monday and on Thursday. Next week therefore means two start days, and lidl.ch lists them separately.

The preview is not a hidden find, it is a fixed part of the site. The promotions overview is grouped by start date, and rounds that are not yet valid appear under Demnächst with the date in the title. That date is the reliable piece of information: it sits on the round itself, not in a footnote. What the preview showed on 5 September 2026

To show you how far ahead the preview reaches, here is the snapshot from our check. That Saturday the Thursday round of 3 September was running and three further rounds were already announced, the last of them nine days ahead. The next day, 6 September, the same four rounds were still sitting side by side. Lidl publishes no rule on how many days in advance a round goes online, so what follows is a dated observation, not a guarantee.

The structure is identical in every language version of lidl.ch. On the same day the French site listed the rounds as "Dès jeudi 3.9.", "Dès lundi 7.9.", "Dès jeudi 10.9." and "Dès lundi 14.9." under Prochainement, and the Italian site carried the same four dates under Prossimamente. The preview is therefore the same across the country, not a German-speaking Switzerland special case.

Two waves a week: what starts on Monday and what starts on Thursday

The two waves are not built the same way. On 6 September 2026 the Thursday round of 3 September carried fresh produce, a "new in our range" section, an orchid week and baby, child and home items (lidl.ch). The Monday round of 7 September instead carried a Balkan themed food week, green plants with ceramic pots, adult clothing and the PARKSIDE range. That is the classic split at a discounter, with Thursday carrying the week's trade and the run-up to the weekend, and Monday often bringing the themed lots.

Two things follow for planning. First, the preview pays off mainly on non-food, which is usually available only while stocks last: knowing the start day means being in store on day one rather than day three. Second, if you only look on Thursday you miss half of the Lidl week. Aldi Suisse runs the same double rhythm, so the two previews read well side by side: Aldi deals next week.

Leaflet or offers page: where next week shows up first

Both channels show the coming week, but not at the same moment. On the lidl.ch leaflet page on 5 September 2026 there were four documents: LIDL AKTUELL KW36, valid 3.9. to 9.9., "Qualité Suisse" over the same period, a regional leaflet for Lidl Luzern also running 3.9. to 9.9., and "September Reise-Highlights" with a longer run from 29.8. to 30.9. No leaflet for calendar week 37 was online that day. On 6 September it was there: LIDL AKTUELL KW37, valid 10.9. to 16.9., alongside two regional editions, "Lidl Landquart im neuen Glanz." and "Lidl Luzern Weinberglistr.", over the same period. The same document is called LIDL ACTUEL SEM36 and then SEM37 in French-speaking Switzerland, LIDL ATTUALE S36 and S37 in Ticino.

The difference is therefore not whether, but how far ahead. On 5 September the offers page reached to 14.9., nine days out; the leaflet for that same following week appeared a day later, four days before its Thursday start. Searching for a Lidl leaflet for next week is not futile, but you have to look closer to the start day. To plan earlier, open the Demnächst section. Lidl Plus: what the app promises and what it does not

Many people expect the preview inside the loyalty app. The official Lidl Plus page on lidl.ch, however, phrases its promise in the present tense: "Immer alle aktuellen Angebote griffbereit auf Deinem Handy", meaning all current offers to hand on your phone, alongside activating personal coupons, the receipt saved automatically on your phone and the shopping list. Future weeks are not mentioned on that page. We therefore do not claim that Lidl Plus shows next week in advance: the lead time is documented on lidl.ch, not in the app.

Two mechanics are still worth knowing, because they change the price you actually pay. According to lidl.ch, "Lidl Plus Angebote müssen nicht im Voraus aktiviert und können mehrfach genutzt werden", that is, Lidl Plus offers need no advance activation and can be used repeatedly, while for coupons "Diese müssen im Voraus aktiviert und können einmalig genutzt werden": activation required, single use. A forgotten coupon is a lost discount. The homepage additionally names Lidl Pay, Lidl Punkte, Scan and Go and Click and Pick. Planning next week across all the chains

One chain's preview answers half the question. It tells you what Lidl is doing next week, not whether another chain has the same product cheaper in the same week. A clean weekly rhythm looks like this:

• Saturday or Sunday: open Demnächst on lidl.ch and look at the Monday round. Note the non-food items, where only the first day counts.
• Wednesday: Lidl's Thursday round is usually already visible in the preview, while the Migros, Coop and Denner leaflets build towards the Thursday start.
• Thursday: the day the whole field moves. Lidl and Aldi Suisse launch their second wave, Migros, Coop and Denner start their week.

Prices change every Thursday, and at the discounters every Monday on top of that: Rappn shows the ones that are valid at the moment you look. Which chain will have the better offer next week? It depends

It depends on the product, the pack size and your canton. Lidl can lead in one category and be overtaken in the next by another chain's Thursday promotion, and regional leaflets such as the one for Lidl Luzern show that the shelf is not identical everywhere. That is why this guide carries no price table: every figure would be out of date by Monday, and by Thursday at the latest. What is here is the rhythm, and the place the preview actually lives.
