Where is my product on offer right now? Search instead of flipping

You want to know where tissues, coffee or laundry detergent are on offer, without working through catalogue after catalogue. In Rappn you type the product name and see the offers of all seven chains side by side, with the price per kilo or litre next to the pack price, filtered to your canton. The chains turn over on three different days: on 16 September 2026 denner.ch headed its weekly offers "10.09.–16.09.2026" and ottos.ch its Wochenhits "gültig ab 15. September".

Rappn compares prices across all 7 chains live: free, no account.

Search the current offers by product

The current offers of all seven chains, searchable by product and filterable by canton, with the unit price next to the pack price.

A search field with a product name and the offers of seven Swiss chains side by side, instead of a stack of weekly catalogues

You want to search for the one product that is on offer right now, instead of flipping through every catalogue. The obstacle is not your patience, it is the calendar: the seven chains Rappn follows start their offers on three different weekdays, and each one shows only its own.

Updated: 16 September 2026. Sources: denner.ch, lidl.ch, aldi-suisse.ch, aligro.ch and ottos.ch, all fetched on 16 September 2026; corporate.migros.ch, release "Migros-Aktionen starten neu am Donnerstag" of 26 January 2026, fetched on 16 September 2026; the Denner press release of the same day is cited through our guide to the Swiss supermarket deals start day; Coop per kleinreport.ch of 15 January 2025; unit price and reference price rules per the Swiss price disclosure ordinance PBV/OIP, SR 942.211, status 1 January 2025.

Search one product across all 7 chains: how it works

It works the same way whatever you are after, tissues, coffee or laundry detergent: type the name, set your canton, read the unit price, put the product on monitoring. Four steps instead of seven catalogues.
StepWhat you doWhat you see
1Type the product name into the search, for example "coffee"The hits from the offers of all seven chains side by side, not catalogue after catalogue
2Pick your cantonThe offers that apply in your canton, out of all 26
3Read the unit priceCHF per kilo, litre or piece next to the pack price
4Put the product on monitoringA price alert as soon as it turns up in an offer again

That is the point where the flipping stops: you type a name and see Migros, Coop, Aldi Suisse, Lidl Schweiz, Denner, Aligro and Otto’s side by side, in your language and free. What sits in the feed is searchable, and we do not claim here how many of a chain's flyer offers that adds up to in a given week.

This is Rappn's offers view: type one product, coffee for instance, and the current offers of all 7 Swiss chains line up side by side, with the unit price next to the pack price. Try it with your own product.

Why does flipping through every catalogue take so long?

Because you are not reading one catalogue, you are reading seven, and they do not turn over on the same day. Migros, Coop and Denner start on Thursday, Lidl Schweiz and Aldi Suisse run two waves a week, Aligro runs its hits from Monday to Saturday, and Otto’s starts on Tuesday. Regional editions add another layer: Aligro published its offer documents in one French-speaking and one German-speaking version (aligro.ch, documented by us on 3 August 2026). Looking for a single product therefore means working through seven booklets with different run times in order to compare four lines. The full rhythm, start day by start day, is documented in our guide to Swiss supermarket catalogues.

When do the offers change at each chain?

This is the timetable your product search runs into. The right-hand column names the evidence, and it is not equally strong on every row: six of them we opened ourselves on 16 September 2026, while the Coop row rests on a press report from January 2025.
ChainOffers startEvidence
MigrosThursday, since 5 February 2026corporate.migros.ch, release of 26 January 2026: "ab 5. Februar 2026 starten die Migros-Aktionen jeweils neu am Donnerstag"
CoopThursday, since January 2025kleinreport.ch, 15.1.2025: "Aktionsstart der Rabattangebote der ganzen Coop-Gruppe neu am Donnerstag"
DennerThursday, since 5 February 2026denner.ch on 16.9.2026: weekly offers headed "10.09.–16.09.2026"
Aldi SuisseMonday and Thursday, two wavesaldi-suisse.ch on 16.9.2026, offers grouped by start day: "ab Montag, 14.09.2026", "ab Donnerstag, 17.09.2026"
Lidl SchweizThursday and Mondaylidl.ch on 16.9.2026: "ab Donnerstag, 10.9.", "ab Montag, 14.9.", "ab Donnerstag, 17.9."
AligroMonday to Saturdayaligro.ch on 16.9.2026: "HITS DU 14.9 AU 19.9"
Otto’sTuesdayottos.ch on 16.9.2026: Wochenhits "gültig ab 15. September", next edition "ab 22. September"

One row is evidenced differently from the rest: coop.ch does not answer our requests, so the Coop row cites the January 2025 press report rather than a reading taken on 16 September 2026. The year-long timetable with its recurring patterns sits in our Swiss supermarket promotion calendar.

For your search this means two things. First, almost every day is an offer day somewhere, but never at all seven chains at once: on 16 September 2026 Denner was running the round from 10 to 16 September, lidl.ch showed "ab Donnerstag, 10.9." and "ab Montag, 14.9." next to each other, aldi-suisse.ch already listed "ab Donnerstag, 17.09.2026" and "ab Montag, 21.09.2026", and Otto’s carried both the Wochenhits "gültig ab 15. September" and the edition "ab 22. September". Second, the same search on Wednesday and on Thursday does not return the same result. If you find nothing on Wednesday, you search again on Thursday, rather than reading seven catalogues twice.

What does the unit price tell you when a product is on offer?

It tells you what the discount is actually applied to. Article 5 paragraph 1 of the Swiss price disclosure ordinance (PBV/OIP, SR 942.211, status 1 January 2025) requires the unit price to be shown for measurable goods, meaning the price per litre, per kilogram or per decimal fraction of those (article 6 paragraph 2). Article 5 paragraph 3 makes exceptions, among them combination and multi-part packs, sale by the piece and prepacked goods up to CHF 2.00: there the arithmetic is yours. That is why the product search puts the price per kilo or litre next to the pack price. How to read it is set out in our guide to Swiss price tags and the unit price.

The crossed-out price beside it follows a rule of its own. Article 16 paragraph 1 PBV/OIP, in force since 1 January 2025, allows a reference price on three grounds: the chain's own earlier price, an introductory price, or a benchmark against what competitors charge. The much-quoted 30 days belong to the first ground only. A discount label therefore tells you about that chain's price history, not about what the same product costs at the other six.

What if my product is not on offer anywhere this week?

That is an answer too, and it costs you one search instead of half an hour of flipping. For that case, put the product on monitoring: Rappn sends you a price alert as soon as it turns up in an offer again. That is the difference between "I found nothing" and "I will hear about it when it happens". Until then the canton filter shows you what applies in your canton, rather than an edition written for another region.

Can I plan the whole week this way?

Partly, and more honestly than a catalogue suggests. A catalogue tells you what one chain is pushing this week, while a product search answers your question, line by line. Put your five items on monitoring on Wednesday evening: Rappn alerts you as soon as one of them turns up in an offer, and the search then shows you where to pick it up. Without an alert the caveat above still applies, because a search made on Wednesday evening shows the round that is running on Wednesday evening, and for Thursday's round at Migros, Coop and Denner you search again on Thursday. Which deals carry weight in a given week is what we sort out in the best grocery deals this week.

Is searching instead of flipping worth it?

For a list of five items: yes, five searches beat seven catalogues on time. For browsing with no target: not necessarily, that is what catalogues are built for. And whether your product is in there this week depends on the week: see it live in Rappn.

Frequently Asked Questions

I want to search for the one product that is on offer right now, instead of flipping through every catalogue. Can I?

Yes, that is exactly what the product search is built for. You type the name, tissues or coffee for instance, and see the hits from the offers of Migros, Coop, Aldi Suisse, Lidl Schweiz, Denner, Aligro and Otto’s side by side, filtered to your canton, with the price per kilo or litre next to the pack price. What sits in the feed is searchable, and we do not claim how many of a chain's flyer offers that adds up to in a week.

Which chains are included in the search?

Seven: Migros, Coop, Aldi Suisse, Lidl Schweiz, Denner, Aligro and Otto’s. They do not start their offers on the same day, which is why a search across chains looks different from a single catalogue. There is also a canton filter covering all 26 cantons, so you do not end up reading offers written for another region.

Which day do the offers start?

Migros, Coop and Denner start on Thursday: Coop since January 2025 (kleinreport.ch, 15 January 2025), Migros and Denner since 5 February 2026 (corporate.migros.ch and the Denner press release, both 26 January 2026). On 16 September 2026 denner.ch headed its weekly offers "10.09.–16.09.2026". Lidl Schweiz runs two waves, Thursday and Monday, and so does Aldi Suisse: on 16 September 2026 aldi-suisse.ch grouped its offers by start day, "ab Montag, 14.09.2026" and "ab Donnerstag, 17.09.2026". Aligro runs Monday to Saturday and Otto’s starts on Tuesday.

Do I also see the price per kilo or litre?

Yes, the unit price sits next to the pack price. Article 5 paragraph 1 of the Swiss price disclosure ordinance (PBV/OIP, SR 942.211, status 1 January 2025) already requires it on the shelf for measurable goods, with the exceptions in paragraph 3, such as combination packs, sale by the piece and prepacked goods up to CHF 2.00. The search shows both figures together, so you do not have to do the arithmetic yourself.

What if my product is not on offer anywhere at the moment?

You put it on monitoring and get a price alert as soon as it turns up in an offer again. That keeps the search useful even in a week when nothing is running. Whether and when it comes back depends on the week and on the chain, and you can check it live in Rappn at any time.
