FAQs about Otto’s

When do new Otto’s offers come out?

The Wochenhits come out every Tuesday as a new flyer with a "valid from" date and the note "while stocks last", with no end date. Every edition since mid-July 2026 has started on a Tuesday, with a few Wednesday starts earlier in the year; the printed date is what counts (source: ottos.ch, checked 25 September 2026). Themed catalogues such as furniture or bikes come on top. Rappn updates the offers daily as Otto’s publishes them.

What makes Otto’s different from supermarkets?

Otto’s is a Swiss discount department store based in Sursee. The assortment covers groceries, but mostly perfume, fashion, household, electronics, wine, sports, and furniture. The promotional rhythm is broader than at pure supermarkets, with frequent brand specials and longer validity periods.

Are Otto’s offers the same online and in-store?

Yes. Weekly promotions apply at the same price across all branches and on the Otto’s online shop (ottos.ch). Offers that are valid online only carry their own label in Rappn.

Where can I find the Otto’s flyer?

The current Otto’s flyer comes in three forms: the Wochenhits, renewed every Tuesday, themed catalogues on ottos.ch and a printed advertising paper in letterboxes. The flyer page on ottos.ch shows the current Wochenhits; all offers are valid only while stocks last.

Guide: the Otto’s flyer

Where can I see next week’s Otto’s deals?

The flyer page on ottos.ch already shows a preview of next week’s Wochenhits (source: ottos.ch). The printed "valid from" date on the flyer is what counts.

Where do I find Otto’s Sport, furniture, and brand-special promotions?

Sports, furniture and brand-special promotions come out at Otto’s as themed catalogues and special flyers on the flyer page of ottos.ch. In the Rappn app you see the Otto’s offers it tracks in one list, filterable by category.

Is Rappn independent from Otto’s?

Yes. Rappn has no commercial agreements with Otto’s, Migros, Coop, Aldi, Lidl, Denner, or Aligro. We earn nothing on the offers we display, and the app remains 100% free.
